耿星光（范伟 饰）和他的名字一样，是一个耿直到有些死脑筋的人。贪婪阴险的村长刘眼镜不待见耿星光，处处给他使绊子，咽不下这口气的耿星光一怒之下决定远走高飞，前往车水马龙的繁华大城市打拼。 初来乍到的耿星光孤身一人，很快就迷失了方向。在经历了一连串的波折和挫折之后，他总算在洗浴中心找到了自己的定位。随着时间的推移，耿星光以真诚和善良渐渐打动了周围的朋友同事，亦得到了上司贺子鹏（冯嘉怡 饰）的信赖和肯定。一场意外让贺子鹏苦心经营的事业毁于一旦，令他丧失了斗志和意志，此时是耿星光不离不弃的陪伴和支持着贺子鹏，令他最终找到了人生的意义。。The series tells the story of an extended family and four young people who are drawn into the world of ska and two-tone music, which exploded from the grassroots of Coventry and Birmingham in the late 70s and early 80s, uniting black, white, and Asian youths.
