本片讲述了金融风暴背景下两个身处大都市的小人物阴差阳错成为英雄的故事。 故事发生在闹市老街和星级酒店这两个落差巨大的地点，在老街靠收废品、打零工为生的彭达的命运，因为龙哥偶然拾到的一封遗书而发生了天翻地覆的变化，他的出现对Danny来说可谓是“半路杀出个程咬金”，导致Danny在酒店颜面扫地、威信不保、军心动乱，更有甚者连大单生意也被截胡……。Today is Jimmy's last day alive.
