Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals? The question remains as relevant today, as it was 80 years ago, and its urgency is tragically manifested in the current event...。Follows a man whose pregnant wife gets murdered and despite the police investigation, the truth is unknown. He tries to find what happened, which confronts him with situations of suspense and terror.。故事从在九州乡下长大的浅葱空豆（广濑铃饰）与梦想成为音乐家的青年海野音（永濑廉饰）的命运般的相遇开始。原本以为一辈子都不会再见面的两人却在东京一处开始了合租生活，他们早已坠入爱河，却没有开始恋爱，仿佛处在白天和黑夜之间的暧昧而耀眼的“黄昏时分”。。
