25年前，李慧芳和程卫国相亲后闪婚。为了赚钱养家，程卫国在婚后第二天决定出国寻找机会，却不料遇到沉船事故，受伤失忆，独自在国外打拼。直到25年后程卫国才恢复记忆，机缘巧合下聘请了李慧芳。经过种种纠缠后，程卫国发现李慧芳就是他一直寻找的妻子。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
