After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。50岁的樋口浩介（光石研饰）是在东京大公司打工的上班族，每天都过着朝九晚五的忙碌生活，在公司干了十几年，浩介好不容易爬上了中层管理的位置，可直到此时他才发现，作为公司里的中层，除了要抵挡住来自上司不断施加的压力外，还得和手底下的员工斗智斗勇。这样的日子过久了，浩介感到非常的疲惫，产生了想要逃离自己生活的念头。 一天深夜，浩介在无意之中看到了小豆岛的旅行指南，在那里，浩介度过了自己的中学时光，那是一个充满了浩介的美好回忆的地方。于是，浩介立刻就以小豆岛为目的地启程踏上了旅途，在途中，浩介邂逅了一名不愿透露身份的神秘少年，两人结伴而行。。
